Couldn't think of a reason not to, so....

Yesterday I registered to be a bone marrow donor. They had a booth set up at a business expo I attended. I saw the sign and wondered about it, so I stopped and asked a few questions and they gave me some information. After three or four minutes I couldn't think of a single reason why I shouldn't do it. So I did it.

And even though a few people have suspected that bone marrow donation is a painful procedure, I hope they do call me and say they need it. It'd be really nice to know you gave a chance to someone facing those long odds, wouldn't it?
